01Origins

Provenance is the first decision, not the last.

Japanese Wagyu is defined as much by prefecture as by grade. We tell you which prefecture the lot comes from, so the origin on your menu is one you can stand behind.

MiyazakiA5

Kyushu, Japan Steak & Yakiniku Cuts

Miyazaki is one of Japan's recognised Wagyu production regions, with cattle raised under close regional supervision and a high share of top marbling grades. It is the origin of the striploin, ribeye and ribloin lines we carry.

Arriving cuts and volumes move with each shipment. Confirm the lot with our team before it goes on the menu.

KagoshimaA5

Southern Kyushu Trade Supply

Kagoshima, on the southern tip of Kyushu, is one of Japan's largest Wagyu-producing prefectures — a long breeding tradition and herd volumes that make it a dependable source for premium marbling.

Not listed on this page yet. Ask us for the current position and we will confirm what the shipment offers.

Also on request: Australian Wagyu is a separate product family with its own grading system. Ask us for current Australian Wagyu availability — it is quoted on its own terms and is not mixed with Japanese A5/A4 grading.

06Questions

Asked by chefs and purchasing teams.

Does KHL supply Japanese Wagyu?
Yes. KHL supplies Japanese Wagyu wholesale to restaurants, hotels, steakhouses and food service operators in Malaysia, handled through our own cold chain from Johor.
Does KHL supply A5 Wagyu?
Yes — A5 is the grade we primarily handle, alongside A4 for yakiniku and value-led menus. Which grades are on hand moves with each shipment, so we confirm the current position before quoting.
Which Japanese Wagyu origins are currently handled?
Miyazaki A5 and Kagoshima A5 are the two origins we are working with. Arriving cuts and volumes change per shipment, so confirm the lot with our team before it goes on your menu.
Can KHL supply restaurants and hotels?
Yes. We hold trade accounts for restaurants, hotels, steakhouses, yakiniku and shabu-shabu operators, wholesalers and central kitchens. Orders are quoted against your own cuts, volumes and delivery schedule.
Are all grades and cuts always available?
No. Origin, grade, cut and stock move with each shipment, so nothing on this page is a permanent stock list. Send us the specification you need and we will confirm what is available now.
How do I get current wholesale pricing?
Send your origin, grade, cut, application, quantity and delivery location on WhatsApp, and our trade desk replies with the current availability and a quotation. We do not publish a price list because prices move with grade, cut and shipment.
Does KHL also supply Australian Wagyu?
Yes — Australian Wagyu is a separate product family with its own grading system. Ask us for current Australian Wagyu availability; it is quoted on its own terms and is not mixed with Japanese A5/A4 grading.
Which cuts can KHL supply?
Steak cuts (striploin, ribeye, ribloin, tenderloin), yakiniku cuts (short plate, short rib, karubi) and thin-slice rounds (top round, gooseneck round) for shabu-shabu and sukiyaki. Cut availability moves with each shipment — ask us for the current list.
Is the Wagyu frozen, chilled or fresh?
It depends on the line. Some Wagyu is supplied frozen, such as Japan Wagyu Topround, and some as chilled. Tell us which your kitchen can handle and we will confirm what the current shipment offers.
Can I check availability before quoting my own customers?
Yes — that is the first step. Message us the spec you need and we confirm what is on hand or arriving, before any commitment on your side.
Do you deliver Wagyu outside Johor?
Our own cold chain covers all 10 districts of Johor on scheduled routes. For other states and for export enquiries, contact us and we will confirm what delivery arrangement is possible.
What is the minimum order?
There is no fixed published minimum. Minimum order depends on the cut, the pack size and the shipment — tell us the volume you have in mind and we will confirm whether it is workable for the current position.
How is the Wagyu packed and transported?
Product is packed for trade supply and moved through our own cold storage and refrigerated trucks. Pack format and slice specification are confirmed with your quotation.
What information should I include in my enquiry?
Origin, grade, cut, application, quantity and delivery location — see the six procurement points above. The more of these you send, the faster the quotation.

Tell us the cut. We will come back with the lot.

Send your requirement and we will confirm the origin, grade and volume available this shipment, with wholesale pricing.
